I have been living at University Village (UV) for a year and enjoy where I am at- a nearby bus stop, pool, gym, and fun&free events held every month! Before I moved here, the reason people told me not to live on RIverside is because of location...seriously' It is a great location! 17 minutes on the bus in the morning is maybe 5 minutes more than it would take to walk from a west campus place to class. Plus, UV is nearly half the price!! I have never had to worry about parking my car at UV and I am glad I do not have to pay a few hundred dollars (a year) like you would in west campus. The rooms themselves are a good size- I fit a full bed, desk, dresser, floor lamp and 20g fishtank perfectly in my room. The living space is as nice as UV presents them on their website. Check it out! This is a great choice. I will be here another year.

Ive been living in "the village" for close to a year. I have never had a serious problem with safety, cleanliness or the management. Any issue that has come up, has been handled promptly and professionally. The pool is nice and they have cookies in the lobby that i always eat.

University village is very good at communicating with their residents, via email (I always receive an email after my maintenance orders have been fulfilled), notes on clips by individual units' doors, & they also have a great dry erase board on the entrance gates--clever! The gate & code system is effective, the gym & pool are maintained, internet & cable included in every unit, furnished if you please! Roommate matching is also available, and speaking from personal experience, they did a great job.
